President’s Message:
In the September 2006, Building Operating Management magazine annual report of industry salaries, certified facility managers earned an average of 24% more than uncertified facility managers! As the premier facility management organization in New Mexico, we are committed to excellence in both the workplace environment as well as our member’s careers. In fact the IFMA study guide currently used was developed right here in New Mexico by many of the current members.
When asked why our members belong to IFMA, the most common answers include the ability to network and solve common problems, develop practical solutions and processes and of course the ability to complete their Certification as a professional Facility Manager.
Since 1990 , IFMA New Mexico has been providing quality training, resources and networking across the state. Comprised of Facility Managers and vendors representing private, city, county, state and federal agencies throughout the state of New Mexico we are constantly seeking methods to improve and grow as individuals and as an organization.
Please contact us about your interests and needs in your facility – or join us at our monthly luncheon held typically on the second Tuesday of each month usually at the Sheraton Uptown.
